Things a girl should splurge on: Perfume

No one wants to spend $50 on perfume if you can buy Victoria’s secret body spray for $10. Trust me, I know. I used to think that way. You get more ounces in the body spray versus the perfume bottle anyway. It seems like you’re paying for the brand name, but you’re not.

I used to go through bottles of body spray like they were nothing. It takes more sprays and it seems as if the scent fades faster.

After using solely perfume for about a year now, I can smell the difference. Perfume tends to follow you outside the room. Body spray lingers. My roommate has been using my old body spray, and I used to be able to smell it in my sleep after she walked to class.

And regarding how long they last, you can only imagine what 3 spritz a day has left me with compared to the 10 I used to do before leaving the house.

But even if you do opt for the body spray on a daily basis, every girl needs perfume for those fancier occasions.

It’s okay to spoil yourself sometimes.
